    68

Because I still haven’t access to my own computer I will work on some new illustrations based on the 60’s. One of the female German Icons that Year is Uschi Obermaier (photo below by Werner Bokelberg). She is a former fashion model, actress and one of the protagonists of the 1968 left-wing movement in Germany. In the latter she is considered an iconic sex symbol of the so-called “1968 generation”.
Soon I will post the 68 inspired illustration here on my blog.

“Uschi, wie war denn das jetzt genau mit’m Jimi?”
    “Ja, toll war’s. Ganz toll.”
    “Geht’s bisschen genauer?”
“Ach geh, ich war doch so aufgeregt: der Jimi Hendrix und ich!”

    Access

Because I have no access to my own computer coming days I couldn’t add a daily update on www.visualclash.com

    Enjoy Summer!

    Project.Earth.01

The first work in a new series of collaborations called Project Earth. This one is made with the help of USA photographer Liz Mares. She provide my with some photos of industrial landscapes in her own area. I first browsed over this area using Google Earth. After marking some points which I think they could be interesting, she photographed these locations and send me raw files. Than it is my turn to blend them into new mixed media pieces.

“Dawn is breaking, birds start to sing,
    Sun is rising, warms everything.
The echo of footsteps on a cobbled street,
Dim alleyways where the shadows meet.
Down the avenue lined with trees,
Paris bells ring on the breeze.
Paris bells ring on the breeze.”

    Marianne Faithfull

    It’s No Game

It’s No Game was the first artwork I created in 2009. This is part of my long term project Construct/Destruct which finally will be released in book form at the end of this Year.

    The Way Out Is Trough

    all I’ve undergone
    I will keep on

    underneath it all
    we feel so small
    the heavens fall
    but still we crawl

    all I’ve undergone
    I will keep on
